Congratulations to the winners of this year 3on3 Tournament, “TC BUMS”

12814766_629825958368_509732453275117618_nThank you again to our sponsors for the event: It’s a Good Pizza and Asian Cafe! If you’re in the Winslow area and are looking for delicious food, stop by both locations for sure.

The TC Bums held off a very tough team in Pippen Ain’t Easy to win the championship today. Average Joe’s, the two time defending champs came up just short with a 3rd place finish this year. Also, new team the Mid Coast Bad Boys made a strong showing with a 4th place finish and the veterans, Toon Squad was able to secure a 5th place finish winning multiple close games. So many other teams had great showings as well and it was an overall great day for everyone. So much talent from all around the state of Maine came together in Winslow today. It was accompanied by bleachers full of fans as well as friends and family. The whole day was a success and I thank everybody who was a part of it. I can’t wait till the next tournament and stay tuned for more tournaments in the future!

Thank You Barry Goudreau, Sib Hashian, and Dirty Water for Giving Central Maine a Night We Will Never Forget!

Legitimate rock legends Barry Goudreau and Sib Hashian took the stage in Halifax Park on July 2nd for a ultra rare concert with their band Dirty Water. The former members of the band Boston perform together less than 10 times a year making the free concert a special treat for everyone who attended that night leaving memories that will last a lifetime. Barry’s guitar work became an integral part of Boston’s trademark style and his personal composition of Foreplay/Long Time is a shining example of his musical genius. Sib has been playing drums in bands with Barry since the age of 17 performing at nightclubs together, sometimes 7 days week. They both can be heard on Boston’s self titled debut album, their follow up “Don’t Look Back”, Barry’s self titled solo album as well as multiple other project. It was a great honor to have them perform for us this year that we are truly grateful for.
